YAOX's Glory － Design for World Expo 2010 Shanghai !
By following our Creative Director Mr. Crayon Yao's leading, YAOX(YAOX5D Group) felt honored making designs for World Expo 2010 Shanghai's China Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion! Mr. Yao became the Executive Creative Director of Chinese Pavilion of World Expo 2010 Shanghai. On Jan. 20th, the Director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination officially conferred the Certificate of Employment to Yao, who shall lead several the Chinese and foreign teams to undertake in-depth design and creative works for Chinese Pavilion. Besides this, Mr. Yao also led our team making designs and constructions for Taiwan Pavilion of World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
Achievements
4D Theater － China Science and Technology Museum(CSTM)
The 4D movie theater of China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) was completed and inaugurated in Beijing on Dec.31,2009. Equipped with 198 seats, the 4D theater of CSTM is built in the new museum located in Beijing Olympic Park. This is the largest and most advanced 4D theater among the various science and technology museums in Asia. Such an indicative project, inclusive of the equipment construction and spatial design of the 4D theater, was opened to international bidding in 2006, and YAOX defeated all the world famous firms and won the bid for its extremely high price/performance ratio.
Along with the opening of the 4D theater, CSTM particularly held “Cross-Strait Popular Science Cultural Exchange and Taiwan Popular Science 4D Film Festival” which lasted for one month. Three films produced by YAOX were arranged being played in turns, including “U-Boat Adventure,” “Virus to Go” and “Dog and Bugs,” with the last one being the opening film on inauguration day. Center Cinema － CHINA Pavilion of World Expo 2010 Shanghai
The Center Cinema of China Pavilion in Shanghai Expo, is a project, designed and constructed by YAOX. It consists of three screen total 63 meters wide, there is also a 24 diameter dome screen above. It’s a huge cinema that can have a capacity up to 700 audiences. The central control host is YAOX’s 5D Master.

720-Degree Spherical Screen in 4D － TAIWAN Pavilion of World Expo 2010 Shanghai
YAOX made the design and construction of a 720-Degree Spherical Screen 4D Theater for Taiwan Pavilion of Shanghai EXPO 2010. This is ultimate type of all cinema, because in this cinema vision is no boundary, the audience see wrapping around above and below are images, in addition to 4D effects and eight channels of surround sound, can bring the audience truly immersive experience they have never been.
